2019 Brokenwood Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted nectarine and subtle grapefruit aromas have a biscuity oak and gun flint overlay with some light citrusy nougat notes also evident. Mid weighted and showing plenty of freshness the palate has a nicely polished feel with nectarine, delicate white peach and grapefruit flavours overlaying light dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint elements. Finishes dry with a long refined aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
