Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate are followed by earthy vanillin cedar and spice notes. Medium to full bodied, the palate is layered with generous dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours which overlay an earthy vanillin oak and spice back drop. Slightly dryish finish with dusty tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
