2019 Carmel Road Central Coast Pinot Noir

Carmel Road is based in the town of Soledad, inland from Monterey’s rugged coastline and along the Arroyo Seco river. The first vintage was released in 1999 with the winery producing cool climate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc that showcase the elegance of California's coastal vineyards.
100% Pinot Noir from Central Coast vineyards featuring red fruit, warm spice and supple texture. Semi translucent dark red colour with black toned edges and a light brick red hue. Spicy cherry and rhubarb scents are trailed by dried herb and subtle earthy cedar notes. Fleshy dark cherry and strawberry fruits overlay dried herb, earth and spicy cedar notes. Silky feel with velvet smooth tannins. The lengthy conclusion juicy, supple and spicy.
