Azienda Agricola COS was founded in 1980 in the town of Vittoria, located in the southeast of Sicily. Championing indigenous grape varietals since their inception, today they are one of the finest producers on the island.

The 2019 Rosso Pithos is dark, dusty and youthfully coy, showing just a glimmer of wild blackberries, blueberries, sage and wet stone. Its silky textures are further enlivened by bright acidity, while crunchy, tart woodland berries and minerals cascade across the palate. This is so juicy yet refined, coloring within the lines of balance while delivering masses of fresh fruits and florals. The Pithos is a blend of 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato. Drink 2021 - 2025.
