2019 De Bortoli The Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in new and used French oak barrels for a period of 9 months with 10-15% whole bunch fruit included in the ferment. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red to brick red hue. Fragrant violet, dark cherry and rhubarb scents intermingle with dried herb, earth and spicy cedar notes. A supple feel along with rich dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits make this very approachable. Adding further interest on the back half is forest floor, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave concluding long and expansive.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
