2019 Domaine Marcel Deiss Complantation

The signature wine of Marcel Deiss, a co-ferment all the 13 permitted Alsatian varieties aged in large old barrels for 12 months. Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Fragrant top notes of rosewater and lychee mix with pear, lime and ginger spice. Delicious pear and lychee fruits drive the palate with a back drop of spicy musk and subtle ginger. Good intensity with brisk acidity counterpointing a round mid palate feel. Finishes dry with a long vivid spicy lychee and rosewater infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
