2019 Down The Rabbit Hole Shiraz

Certified organic with maturation taking place in French oak (20% new) for a period of 18 months. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up scents peppered blackberry and liquorice followed by vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy dark chocolate. Carrying good weight and flesh the palate has a rich flavour profile of blackberry and liquorice fruits over dark plum, vanillin oak, fennel and pepper. Polished, velvet like tannin structure with a succulent and spicy finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
