2019 Haselgrove Catkin Shiraz

Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum scents drift from the glass with some toasty vanillin oak, earth and pepper also evident. Rich and plush the full bodied palate is awash with succulent blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits. Spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and pepper elements lie underneath. Amply powered it finishes with silky smooth tannins and a long opulent black fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
