2019 Il Poggione Toscana Rosso

A blend of Sangiovese, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark red black in colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up ripe red currant and delicate rose petal like scents followed by red cherry, earthy cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Bright red cherry and red currant fruits are cast across the elegant medium bodied palate with dusty earth, spicy cedar and light tobacco elements lying underneath. Finishes fresh with fine, slightly dryish tannins and a savoury aftertaste. A very quaffable Tuscan blend.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
