2019 Langmeil Three Gardens Grenache Shiraz Mataro

A blend of 36% Grenache, 30% Shiraz, 30% Mataro, 2% Carignan and 2% Counoise matured in seasoned oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Freshly crushed ripe raspberry, cherry and liquorice aromas flow from the glass followed by some vanillin spice and inky earth like notes. Rich dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry flavours have a succulent velvet like feel with flashes of vanillin oak and spicy earth underscoring the fruit. Good freshness with silky tannins and a long juicy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
