2019 Les Peyrautins Chardonnay

Bright pale straw colour with a glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated white peach top notes meld into ripe nectarine, dried honey, citrusy nougat and spice scents. Very rounded and possessing ample weight, the palate is richly flavoured with fleshy ripe peach and nectarine fruits which square off against dried honey, citrusy nougat and spicy toasted oak characters. Soft balanced acidity with a textured medium length finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
