2019 Maddens Rise Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with gleaming green tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of grapefruit and nectarine mix with citrus, faint bees wax and gun flint. Mid weighted flavours of nectarine and dried honey meld into grapefruit, subtle lemon butter and infusions of gun flint on the back half. Good underlying freshness imparts an energetic feel onto the mid length finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
