2019 Pikes Traditionale Riesling

One of Clare’s most consistent Rieslings. Brilliant water like colour with a greenish tinged outskirts. Potent lime, green apple, citrus and orange rind scents fill the nostrils with talc and hints of chalky minerals also evident. Intense lemon and lime flavours lead into a mouth watering finish that’s lined with racy acidity. Nuances of green apple, wet steel, light talc and minerals also chime in on the long linear aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Traditional by all means as it winds its way across the palate in typical Pikes style, offering as much today as it will in 5+ years time. It has the full range of riesling flavour at a minimal alcohol level. Drink by 2029.
