2019 Plantagenet Lancaster Shiraz
Review Summary: Rich and chewy with smoky elements of earth, vanillin cedar, peppered meats and leather lingering through the finish.
The Detailed review: Dense midnight black heart with a dark red hue. Elevated liquorice, smoked meat and black cherry aromas are married to toasty vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruits are intermeshed with scorched earth, smoky vanillin cedar and peppered meat elements. Ripe chewy tannins with some emerging leather characters lingering through the medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 14.5%
Other Reviews….
Inky, plush, saturated and dense. This is spicy and structured with layers of black fruit flavour. Very smart.
