2019 Red Edge Dry Grown Heathcote Shiraz

Ripe and robust with a firm chewy tannin structure and some off putting varnishy elements.

Dense pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced black plum and liquorice aromas are tainted by hints of nail polish with some earthy barnyard, leather and pepper notes also evident. Very ripe and rich, the full bodied palate is swamped with black plum, liquorice and black cherry liqueur flavours which meld into a scorched earth and peppered leather back drop. Hints of varnish are also evident. Firm chewy tannin structure with a mid length finish that’s ripe and robust.
Drink over the next year.
