2019 Rippon Emma’s Block Pinot Noir
Slightly cloudy red to dark red colour with a light red hue. Perfumed like violet scents sail out of the glass alongside some wild cherry, winter strawberry and red liquorice notes. Fresh herb, earth and subtle spicy cedar aromas are also evident. Light in body the palate is both vibrant and supple in its feel with delicious red cherry and winter strawberry fruits complimented by a dash of sour cherries. Lying underneath are infusions of fresh herbs, subtle forest floor and delicate spicy cedar. Polished tannins combine with vividly fresh acidity and an elegant aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 13.5%
Other Reviews….
Aromas of rose with leaves and some red fruit such as cranberries and plums. Hibiscus. Bright. Medium body with linear mouthfeel of driven acidity that folds in nicely in the palate. Subtle, juicy and seductive. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
