2019 Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant, black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with toasty vanillin oak and spicy tobacco notes. Mid weighted, initial flavours of ripe blackcurrant are totally overwhelmed by charry vanillin oak and spice characters on the back half. Fine grained tannins with a lingering charry vanillin oak conclusion.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
