2019 Scorpo Pinot Gris

Scorpo’s Pinot Gris is 100% whole bunch-pressed with most of the must going straight into old barriques with 100% solids for natural-yeast fermentation. A portion was fermented in concrete tank. The wine is left on lees for approximately 11 months.

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted fresh pear, baked apple and honeysuckle aromas mix with quince, a faint whiff of musk and a lick of spice. Rich and possessing a luscious like texture, mouthfilling flavours of spiced pear, ripe apple, honeysuckle and quince are underpinned by a vivid freshness. Finishes dry with a touch of ginger on the long richly textured yet refreshing aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
