2019 Stephane Ogier La Rosine Syrah

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with peppered dried meats mix with scorched earth, dried herb and black olive notes. Spicy black cherry and liquorice flavours combine with scorched earth, black olive, dried meats and peppered herb characters. Meaty mouthfeel with a firm chewy tannin structure and rather rustic mid length conclusion.

The 2019 Collines Rhodaniennes La Rosine is another pretty, seamless wine from Ogier, offering classic Northern Rhone black raspberry like fruit as well as some chalky minerality and spice. Medium-bodied, it has fine tannins, and nicely integrated acidity.
