2019 Terrazas de Los Andes Grand Malbec

Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Nosing evokes scents of blueberry, violet, red liquorice and fresh herbs followed by some vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Rich, fleshy textured ripe blueberry, red liquorice and dark plum fruits overlay a vanillin cedar, subtle graphite, earth and dried herb back drop. Polished feel with a finely etched tannin structure, ample freshness and a long, elegant blue fruited aftertaste.

Blackberry, tar and basil with some other herbs on the nose. Full-bodied with juicy tannins and a fine-velvet texture. It’s long and polished with a pretty and rather classy finish. From vineyards in Altamira, Los Chacayes and Las Compuertas. Sustainable. Tight at the end. Such finesse. Give it a year or two.
