2019 Tokar Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge running around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated white peach and nectarine scents meld into hints of dried honey, biscuity oak, spicy nougat and faint gun flint. Light, elegant and fresh the palate features nectarine and white peach fruits over subtle dried honey, citrusy nougat and flinty elements. Finishes dry with lively acidity that has a slight citrus tang to it. Delicate medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
