2019 Toolangi Pauls Lane Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques, 20% new, for a period of 10 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a glimmer of green skirting the edges and a watery hue. Lifted fleshy white peach and dried honey aromas subtlety infused with gun flint are followed by some biscuity oak, light cashew and citrusy nougat notes. Gently creamy in its feel the palate features a refined flavour profile of nectarine, white peach, dried honey, delicate cashew, nougat and infusions of gun flint. Concludes with a long glossy textured, smoky flint infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
