2019 Trentham Estate The Family Nero d’Avola

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aniseed and black plum aromas intermix with toasty oak, incense and spice. Medium bodied flavours of morello cherry and liquorice are featured over toasty oak, earthy incense and spice characters. Juicy mouthfeel with polished tannins and a mid length finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
