2019 Viticoltori Senesi Aretini Chianti

Deep dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Nosing presents prominent charry dried clove like top notes which all but completely smother the fruit. Some scorched earth and spicy dried herb scents are also present. Light to medium weight, the charry characters are not quite as prevalent on the palate with juicy cherry flavours overlaid by charry cedar, scorched earth and spicy dried herbs. Lively acidity with slightly dryish tannins and a char tinged finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
