2020 Anduma Langhe DOC Nebbiolo

Anduma Nebbiolo has been crafted since 1964 in the hilltop town of Cisterna d'Asti. The wine is aged for 6 months in old barriques, the oak only operating texturally and not interfering with flavour or aroma. This pure, open wine is the ultimate introduction to the beauty of Nebbiolo.
Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant rose petal infused aromas of red currant and red cherry blossom out of the glass trailed by some earthy graphite and spicy Mediterranean herbs. Delicious juicy red cherry, morello cherry and red liquorice fruits cast a supple feel over an earthy graphite, fresh herb and spicy tobacco back drop. Showing classic Nebbiolo power, bright acidity and a sturdily built tannin structure, there’s some light grip to the moreish finish that also sees a delicate leather component emerge. Great Value.
