The 2020 Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from Meursault and is aged in foudres. It has a light bouquet with light lemon and orange pith aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine depth, a touch of spice that enlivens the finish. Fine. Closure: Diam. Drink 2022-2027.

Racked to tank in July, from foudre and 600 litre barrels. Almost all the grapes come from around Meursault. Excellent balance here with a line of concentration through the middle. Perfectly judged ripeness, more in white fruit. Textbook example, just a little oak toast but the fruit is the driver.
