2020 Bleasdale Bremerview Shiraz
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of dark plum, liquorice and choc mint which are interwoven with earth and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Generously fruited and fleshy in its feel the mid weighted palate features spicy dark plum and liquorice flavours over vanillin cedar and subtle earthy choc mint characters. Slightly dryish finish with grainy tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Open fermented with 15% whole berries, left 9–12 days on skins and matured for 12 months in French puncheons and hogsheads (10% new). A pleasant medium-bodied shiraz that is bright and fresh, with savoury black fruits and balanced tannins. Attractive price!
