2020 Bleasdale Broad-Side Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec

A blend of Shiraz (73%), Cabernet Sauvignon (22%) and Malbec (5%) matured in French and American oak puncheons and hogsheads (10% new) for a period of 9 months.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Uplifted aromas of dark plum and liquorice fill the nostrils with some dark cherry, earth and vanillin spice notes also evident. Rich and plump in its feel, the medium to full bodied palate is generously blessed with dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice fruit. Velvet smooth tannins with some earthy vanilla and spice characters lurking underneath. Plush medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
