2020 Bodegas Cota 45 Ube Miraflores

Made in a ‘sherry-like’ style from Palomino grapes, this wine ages under flor but is not fortified, with a focus of fruit character. Aged for 8 months in old sherry oak barrels. Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of citrus pine, waxy notes, almond and spicy pear. Fresh pear and citrus pine like flavours line the light yet nicely rounded mid palate with some lime, salted almond and a subtle waxiness lingering on the back half. Finishes dry with brisk acidity and a salted almond laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
