2020 Clairault Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated nectarine and peach aromas combine with dried honey, biscuity nougat and lemon butter notes. Rich nectarine, peach and honeyed cashew like flavours carry a creamy texture with notions of nougat, crème brulee and spice lying underneath. Round and full with soft yet measured acidity it has a long generous and voluminous finish that has a dash of ginger spice to it.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
