2020 Clos Figueras Poblets del Montsant Tinto

A blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Carignan and 10% Syrah aged for 7 months in French and American oak casks. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Elevated dark to black raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice aromas are intertwined with scorched earth and peppered dried herb notes. Rich juicy dark to black cherry and liquorice fruits meld into notions of scorched earth, dried herbs and subtle spicy leather overtones. Velvety yet gently chewy feel with fine grained tannins and a savoury mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
