2020 Cloudy Bay Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with glimmering green tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced nectarine and grapefruit aromas are intertwined with biscuity oak, hints of lemon butter, almond and gun flint. Rich peach and nectarine fruits overlay grapefruit, subtle roasted almond and infusions of gun flint. A gently creamy mid palate feel counterpointed by citrusy acidity. Showing excellent intensity it concludes long and fresh.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

A lovely nose of meyer lemon, wild thyme, wet stone and white peaches. Medium-bodied with a juicy texture. Flavorful and persistent with a line of acidity that runs the length of the palate. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
