2020 De Bortoli Re-Write The Rules Tempranillo

Aged in small and larger casks for approximately 6 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas intermingle with vanillin cedar, dusty earth and spice. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruits fill the mouth with vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spice lingering underneath. Ripe chewy mouthfeel with sturdy tannins lending some grip to the long rustic yet black fruit loaded aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
