2020 Domaine de Bel-Air Jean-Marc Lafont Chardonnay Beaujolais

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of white peach, green apple, biscuit and dried honey interplay with nougat, hints of crème brulee and spice. Medium weighted with a faintly creamed feel, nectarine and green apple fruits overlay subtle biscuit and light dried honey characters. Finishes dry and fresh with infusions of flinty oyster shell and minerals on the elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
