2020 Domaine de la Cotelleraie Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil Les Montils

Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant red currant, violet and clove scents blossom from the glass with some earth, fresh herb and light spice notes also evident. Light and savoury the elegant palate features spicy red currant fruits over earthy clove like characters. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
