2020 Elderton Ode to Lorraine Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot

A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Shiraz and 13% Merlot aged in French oak puncheons (40% new) for a period of 24 months. Midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of blackcurrant, red liquorice and red plum are trailed by hints of mulberry, tobacco and vanillin cedar. Rich, opulent and expansive, the medium to full bodied palate is flooded with lavish blackcurrant, liquorice and dark plum fruits. Spicy vanillin cedar and subtle mocha characters ensue. Beautifully polished feel with silky smooth tannins and a long plush finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
