This is almost always an excellent wine in the context of its place in the Burgundian hierarchy and 2020 is no exception. There is excellent freshness to the airy and ripe dark berry fruit aromas that are liberally laced by earth and discreet spice wisps. The racy and appealingly textured middle weight flavors possess solid depth and persistence on the balanced finale. As is usually the case, this should readily permit early accessibility. Drink from 2023+.

Revealing aromas of cherries, raspberries and spices, the 2020 Bourgogne Rouge is medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, with fine concentration, lively acids and a long finish. It's a terrific cuvée that punches above its weight. Drink 2021 - 2035.

Rich deep purple, with a very perfumed, ultra raspberry bouquet – very attractive but quite extreme. On the palate the flavours are perhaps a little bit too rich, Christmas cake character, hyper concentrated for Burgundy.
