2020 Hugo Shiraz

Dense pitch black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas flood the olfactory senses followed by some vanillin oak, mocha and spicy scorched earth notes. Rich, silky and plush the medium to full bodied palate is well endowed with dark plum and liquorice fruits. Toasty vanillin oak, mocha and spicy earth elements linger on the back half. Velvet smooth tannins with a very polished feel to the medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
