2020 Jones Road Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with gleaming green tinged edges and a watery hue. Nectarine, pear and bees wax like scents emerge from the glass followed by hints of lemon butter, faint toast and spice. Lively acidity underpins nectarine and lemon flavours with some subtle waxy toast like characters and spice tailing off through the crisp back half. Slightly leanish feel finishing dry and focused with moderate length.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
