2020 Loosen Bros. Dr L Riesling

This is the entry level Riesling of the Loosen range, which is made in a bright, vibrant, fruit driven style. Fruit is sourced from contracted growers located throughout the Mosel River Valley who work very closely with brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen to achieve excellent fruit quality and concentration every vintage.
Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of pear, lime and red apple mix with honeysuckle and orange blossom notes. The light, airy palate has a racy feel with mineral infused acidity underpinning lime and red apple fruits. Subtle infusions of orange blossom, faint honeysuckle and flinty mineral characters flow onto the back half. Dry, crisp finish with an aftertaste that’s both elegant and refreshing.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
