2020 Monterra Elevage Series Shiraz Tempranillo

Dense black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas intermingle with vanillin cedar, earth and spicy tobacco. Medium to full in body, rich, fleshy textured liquorice and blackberry fruits overlay vanillin cedar, earth and spice characters. Polished tannins have a sturdy underbelly providing excellent structure. The medium to long finish a marriage of opulence and refinement.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
