2020 Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Terre de Maimbray Sancerre

Pascal Reverdy’s domaine is based in the tiny hamlet of Maimbray. Maimbray is located in a valley surrounded by chalk hills adjacent to Chavignol and Verdigny. From their small cellar they produce one of France’s most highly awarded Sancerres’.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced lime and green apple scents merge into some herbaceous grassy notes, wet slate and mineral infused fresh herbs. The palate is layered with an intense flavour profile of lime and green apple fruits infused with fresh herbs over a stony mineral back drop. Finishes dry with mouth watering acidity and a long shimmering aftertaste.
