2020 Peter Lehmann H&V Shiraz

Matured in oak hogsheads for 12 months. Midnight black at its heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up a mix of ripe dark plum and liquorice scents followed by some smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich luscious liquorice, black cherry and dark plum fruits overlay a blackpepper infused back drop of spicy vanillin cedar and dried meats. A sturdy tannin structure imparts a muscular feel onto the robust mid length finish.
