2020 St Johns Brook Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Barrel fermented with regular lees stirring and matured in a combination of new and seasoned French oak. Bright straw colour with a greenish tint to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, lemon butter, oily toast and dried honey mix some spicy citrus scents. Rich and round in the mouth, flavours of peach, dried honey and lemon butter have a toasty oak back drop. Finishes dry with some spicy roasted almond elements lingering through the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
