Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of dark cherry, plum and subtle liquorice which are intermeshed with toasty vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Possessing good richness and weight the plush palate features dark plum and liquorice fruits over a scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered dried meat background. Sturdy yet velvety tannins with plenty of generosity on the medium to long conclusion.
