Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine, pear and bees wax fill the nostrils trailed by hints of lemon butter, roasted almond and spice. Making a silky textured entrance are pear, nectarine and bees wax flavours which meld into a refreshing back drop of lemon butter, roasted almond and infusions of gun flint. Concentrated, it finishes lively and fresh with a gentle creaminess to the long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

From 38yo estate-grown fruit, whole bunch pressed to French puncheons and barriques (25% new). No batonnage or mlf. A bright and medium-deep green gold. Aromas of yellow stone fruits, acacia, orange blossom and fresh vanilla bean are all present on the nose of this complex and powerful wine. The palate is rich and textured, yet equally refined and balanced. Finishes long and satisfying.
