2021 30 Mile Cabernet Sauvignon

30 Mile wines are produced by John Quarisa who is probably best known for his Johnny Q label. During his extensive winemaking career John has picked up some of Australia’s top awards including the Jimmy Watson and Stodart trophies.
Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and black olive mix with cigar box and spice notes. Medium bodied initial blackcurrant fruits are overwhelmed by a strong dose of toasty vanillin cedar with some tobacco and spicy black olive characters also evident. Fine grained tannins with a lingering toasty vanillin cedar conclusion.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
