2021 Alpha Crucis Clarendon Syrah

Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady aromas of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fill the nostrils with trailing notes of vanillin cedar, subtle dried herb and peppered meats. Medium to full bodied with a refined yet plush mouth feel, the palate features blackberry, liquorice and juicy red plum fruits over vanillin cedar, delicate earth and pepper characters. Finishes with good freshness, fine grained tannins and a relatively elegant mid length aftertaste.
