2021 Atze’s Corner Bachelor Shiraz

Magnificent colour featuring a super saturated pitch black heart and an equally deep dark purple black hue. Liquorice, black cherry, blackberry and dark plum aromas engulf the nostrils followed by smoky cedar, fennel and blackpepper notes. With a further 6 months bottle age all of the components have become better integrated. Rich and plush, fleshy dark plum and liquorice fruits flow seamlessly across the palate. Silky smooth tannins with some smoky cedar, fennel and pepper characters also chiming in. Good underlying freshness with an opulent medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
