2021 Balgownie Black Label Pinot Noir

The superb 2021 vintage conditions have produced probably the best Pinot yet under Balgownie Estate’s Black Label range. A smart packaging upgrade has also given it a more modern look.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Alluring scents of violets, dark cherry and clove intermix with rhubarb, forest floor and spicy cedar. Light and supplely textured the palate possesses an excellent power wave of dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruit with notions of dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar adding further interest on the back half. Velvet smooth tannins and a long moreish finish. Great Value.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2023-2027).
